The piece
This is for the long dinner that drifts into the small hours.
Inspired by the gardens of the poet Sappho on the Greek island of Lesbos, this candle captures fig at its peak: milky green stems, crushed leaves and sun-ripened fruit, grounded by a creamy whisper of Cardamom and Sandalwood.
A romantic one. Light accordingly.
Details
- Notes: Fig leaf, sun-ripened fig, Cardamom, Sandalwood
- 8 oz vegetable wax, cotton wick
- Fully recyclable glass
- Hand-poured in Los Angeles
- Care: burn 2–3 hours the first time so the top melts evenly; trim the wick to ¼"; burn no more than 3 hours at a time; stop with ¼" of wax left
