Poetic objects for the home
Maison Balzac
A French eye for the everyday.

Meet the Maker
Jewellery for the table, since 2012.
Maison Balzac was founded in Australia in 2012 by French-born Elise Pioch Balzac. What began with five perfumed candles has grown into a world of hand-blown glassware, colourful tableware, linen and unusual fragrances. With a background at Hermès in Paris and a fashion buyer’s eye, Elise brings a distinctly French sense of beauty to the Australian home. The result is a collection of playful, poetic objects designed to make everyday rituals feel a little more extraordinary.

The Talk Trigger
The Olive Bottle
It looks like a piece of sculpture, but it has a very practical job. The hand-blown glass bottle is studded with tiny olives and turns the everyday act of pouring olive oil into a little table-side theatre.
