Description
This is for the person who likes their table to feel like a small exhibition, where every plate carries its own quiet story.
The Dessert Plate Portrait by Tania Bulhões brings illustrated artistry to the table, with expressive motifs that feel collected, personal, and slightly unexpected. Each piece sits between object and artwork, where color and composition do most of the talking. Crafted in fine porcelain, it has a refined weight and a surface that feels made to be noticed up close, especially when layered with simple linen and glass.
Perfect for dessert, fruit, or small plated moments at the end of a meal. A plate that turns serving into something more intentional, without ever feeling formal.
Care
Gold banding and hand painting mean no microwave, ever, and no dishwasher if you want the gold to stay gold. Warm water, mild soap, dry it properly, put it back in rotation. The body itself was fired past anything your kitchen can do to it. The decoration is the delicate part, and even that survives ordinary Tuesdays.

“Inspired by nature and the world"
Tania Bulhões opened a small shop in Uberaba, in the interior of Minas Gerais, in 1989. It sold plates, paintings, whatever came in. Somewhere in there she worked out that the plates were the point. São Paulo followed in 1991.
