Description
This is for the person who never drinks espresso just because they need caffeine.
The Espresso Cup and Saucer Tropicos (set of 4) by Tania Bulhões scales the ritual down to something more precise, where each cup carries a slightly different hand-painted detail, like a private variation within a shared language. The saucer grounds it all, adding a quiet frame to something usually finished in seconds.
Best for after-dinner espresso, slow mornings, or the kind of hosting where even the final sip is part of the table.
Care
Gold banding and hand painting mean no microwave, ever, and no dishwasher if you want the gold to stay gold. Warm water, mild soap, dry it properly, put it back in rotation. The body itself was fired past anything your kitchen can do to it. The decoration is the delicate part, and even that survives ordinary Tuesdays.

“Inspired by nature and the world"
Tania Bulhões opened a small shop in Uberaba, in the interior of Minas Gerais, in 1989. It sold plates, paintings, whatever came in. Somewhere in there she worked out that the plates were the point. São Paulo followed in 1991.
