Description

This is for the friend who understands that a bowl is rarely just a bowl.

The Bowl Tropicos (set of 2) by Tania Bulhões carries soft botanical painting that wraps gently around the form, like a scene you catch mid-bloom. The interior stays clean and quiet, which makes the exterior feel even more intentional when it shows up at the table.

Ideal for breakfast that turns into lunch, shared sides passed without ceremony, or small meals eaten slowly at the counter. They feel lived with from the first use.

Care

Gold banding and hand painting mean no microwave, ever, and no dishwasher if you want the gold to stay gold. Warm water, mild soap, dry it properly, put it back in rotation. The body itself was fired past anything your kitchen can do to it. The decoration is the delicate part, and even that survives ordinary Tuesdays.

“Inspired by nature and the world"

Tania Bulhões opened a small shop in Uberaba, in the interior of Minas Gerais, in 1989. It sold plates, paintings, whatever came in. Somewhere in there she worked out that the plates were the point. São Paulo followed in 1991.
